Become an Eco-Friendly Designer with Re-nourish

As an environmentally conscious graphic designer, I am aware that the products I create waste that adds to the environment problem. I wanted to be part of a solution – I wanted to be a eco-friendly graphic designer.  Now it is more possible to achieve this goal, thanks to a web site called re-nourish. ­Re-nourish was created by Eric Benson, Yvette Perullo and Jess Sand to help graphic designers make better decisions that will lead to less waste and better design sustainability.

Some of the things that are available on this site are definitions and details on greener printing, green paper, green printing processes. It provides a way to find vendors of green paper, green inks and so on. It also gives you ways to green your studio. My favorite tool is the greening calculator. This calculator helps a designer minimize the waste of your projects, which can minimize the potential environmental damage.

If you are a graphic designer, this site could only enhance your design savvy while making your world  a cleaner place to live.
