Weekend of March 13 – No Painting – Lots of Drawing

I didn’t paint this week, but I did create quite a bit of drawing.

This drawing is a little bit different style the most. I decided to ink the face and build facial features using wax-based and oil-based media. I like the direction and will make a series out of this style.

The following drawings are a tribute to “Valentine’s Day.” At some point, I will add color, or make a painting out of at least one of these.

Here are a couple drawings from the “Valentine Series” that I colored. I use crayons, india ink and oil-based pastels.

March has been a busy month, but I have to create something or I will go crazy. These drawing gave me another week of sanity. Until next weekend!
